{"id":1746,"date":"2015-03-04T08:38:22","date_gmt":"2015-03-04T14:38:22","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/nflconcussionlitigation.com\/?p=1746"},"modified":"2015-03-04T08:38:22","modified_gmt":"2015-03-04T14:38:22","slug":"call-for-submission-of-articles-and-essays","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/nflconcussionlitigation.com\/?p=1746","title":{"rendered":"Call for Submission of Articles and Essays"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The University of Missouri-Kansas City Law Review journal is seeking submissions for an upcoming symposium.<\/p>\n<p>Submitted articles and essays should address the legal aspects and intersections of traumatic brain injuries (TBI) as they relate to any area of sports law (including return to play, concussion litigation, settlements, class actions, etc.), neuroscience and neurolaw, criminal law, attorney obligations when a client has a TBI, veterans\u2019 rights, compliance with federal law, including the American\u2019s with Disability Act, rules of evidence and expert qualifications, and products liability and consumer protection. \u00a0We welcome any submissions dealing with TBI as it relates to these and other related topics.<\/p>\n<p>The symposium will feature approximately 8-10 authors whose scholarly pieces will range from 7,000-10,000 words and include footnotes.\u00a0 However, longer pieces will also be considered.<\/p>\n<p>Works currently in progress will be considered, so long as they have not been published elsewhere.\u00a0 If you have a scholarly piece related to the symposium issue, plan to submit a piece, or have a question, please submit it to the UMKC Law Review Articles and Symposium Editors at: <a href=\"mailto:zas4z7@mail.umkc.edu\">zas4z7@mail.umkc.edu<\/a>\u00a0\u00a0 or\u00a0\u00a0 <a href=\"mailto:LMTZD@mail.umkc.edu\">LMTZD@mail.umkc.edu<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The<strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"> deadline<\/span><\/strong> for submission is July 31, 2015.\u00a0 The anticipated publication date is Fall\/Winter, 2015.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The University of Missouri-Kansas City Law Review journal is seeking submissions for an upcoming symposium.
