There are now more than 1,060 &#8212; roughly 1,069 &#8212; players involved. The first is a mass tort, exactly like the other lawsuits filed by Lock&#8217;s in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania,\u00a0<em>John \u201cGolden\u201d Richards, et al v. NFL. <\/em>The other lawsuit, also filed in the E.D. of Penn, names longtime Detroit Lions Quarterback, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/L\/LandGr00.htm\">Greg Landry<\/a> and his wife as plaintiffs, <em>Landry et al v. NFL.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>[scribd id=87741099 key=key-cfeydl1a3c22yhrald8 mode=list]<\/p>\n<p>[scribd id=87817767 key=key-px16aru0hunhb1su0v5 mode=list]<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>As inaccurately <a href=\"http:\/\/www.king5.com\/sports\/seahawks\/Seahawk-great-Curt-Warner-joins-Rypiens-concussion-lawsuit-145451045.html\">reported<\/a> over the weekend, the <em>Richards&#8217;<\/em> lawsuit includes <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/W\/WarnCu00.htm\">Curt Warner<\/a>, but he is not \u201cjoining Rypien\u2019s concussion lawsuit.\u201d Rather, Warner is a named plaintiff in the <em>Richards\u2019 <\/em>lawsuit. In other words, they are <em>separate<\/em>\u00a0lawsuits.<\/p>\n<p>The <em>Richards&#8217;<\/em> lawsuit also names the youngest player to join the litigation thus far, twenty-seven-year old, <a href=\"http:\/\/seventhmillenniumsportsgear.com\/dc2007draft\/2007_brandon_register.php\">Brandon Register<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Of course, the lawsuits will continue to be filed in the coming weeks.
